a family i LOVE...

This is my AMAZING sister and her sweet little family...oh how I love them!

I was lucky enough to get to spend Christmas with them this year. Kim decided since they are the "California Family" in our family, that it was most appropriate for her to have a family portrait on the beach. It was my first experience photographing on the beach...and it's actually kinda tricky! There was a short window of time that the light was exactly how I wanted it and just how I had imagined it to be in the image. I'd say it worked out pretty good. And it sure helps that the subject is about as cute as they come....

Cute, cute, cute.

It's almost ridiculous how many adorable children there are out there...and I am lucky enough to photograph so many of them! This little man is definitely no exception. It was a piece of cake to get him to smile and laugh! And as you can tell, his parents don't love him at all ;-).

I loved, loved, LOVED spending time with you guys yesterday. It was such a treat!
